The boys and I went to watch Narnia -Prince Caspian last Wednesday night. I'm a single parent since last Monday till next Thursday since hubby is lucky to get to go to Spain for his company trip.
And boy did I chose the right night to go ... there was traffic jam everywhere!! The Government made an announcement in the afternoon on the new petrol hike from RM1.92/liter to RM2.70/liter. Everyone was rushing back from the office in the pouring thunderstorm to fill their car tanks with petrol before the new price starts the next day (although I don't quite comprehend the logic of it - the petrol is not gonna last that long anyway!).
On my way back from work, I was caught in a jam caused by flash flood and on the way to the movies the jam was caused by overflow of vehicles queuing at petrol stations everywhere.
Back to the movie Narnia, all the kids Peter, Edmund, Susan and Lucy have grown up. The movie is much darker than the first. With little bit elements from Harry Porter and LOTR... plus familiar character like Aslan (the Lion), White Witch (small scene) plus many, many new adorable characters ie. the swash buckling mouse and the scholar beaver and of cos' Prince Caspian, aww..so cute!!! It was a long movie about 2 and half hours.
My youngest son was fast asleep when the movie was over. It was 11:30pm when we left the theatre and on the road, people are still queuing at the petrol stations.
